If you’re PC is running way too slow or it’s freezing up too often, then chances are you’ve got a registry problem.

3. DON’T try and clean the registry yourself. Windows lets you perform a manual registry cleanup. But here’s the thing… you’ve got to know EXACTLY what you’re doing. If you don’t, you can seriously screw up your system. Instead, I highly recommend you get a professional registry cleaner.
4. DO prevent future registry problems and slow PC performance by getting a good uninstaller program. A slow PC that freezes and causes you all kinds of headaches is usually due to installing and uninstalling lots of programs… especially freeware and shareware. And many times, the uninstall programs that do come with these programs do a poor job of uninstalling the software. Having a good uninstall program ensures it performs a proper windows registry cleanup… leaving your system as it was before the program was installed.
All in all, having a clean registry is important for overall PC performance. It’s also important to prevent those annoying BLUE SCREENS of DEATH (if you’ve ever used Windows, you KNOW what I’m talking about).
